Country 92.5 St. Jude's Bowl-A-Thon - All American Ms. Talent 2008 - February 8, 2008
Laurye found out about a great St. Jude's benefit and asked us gals to come along! We were so proud to be team "Queens For The Cure." L-R: Stacy Perrone-Petta, Miss Connecticut America 1996; Laurye Natale, Mrs. Northeast U.S. Earth; Diane Piccolo, Mrs. Connecticut United States 2007 and me. The event took place at Silver Lanes in East Hartford. We had to get up preeeetttty eeeeaarly for this one! (Try 4:00AM! UGH!)
Check out this form! Old Yeller is ready to roll! Did I just get a strike for our team?!?!
Team "Queens For The Cure" actually won the trophy for "Most Spirited Team!" We proudly pose (pageant-like, of course) in front of the broadcast booth for Bosh & Cory.
Posing with the Country 92.5 morning crew, Bosh & Cory and her new baby, Carter. We had a blast and I was so happy that I got to be a part of helping St. Jude's. Thanks Laurye!

A Great Loss To The World - December 28, 2007
Today we lost one of the most amazing people - my Mother-In-Law, Lynda. She was a joy to be around and beautiful inside and out. She was a great friend to many - including me. She was a loving Stepmother, Grammy and friend. She was brave and strong and fought the cancer - that eventually took her life - for so long. We will all miss her very, very much. This is the last picture of us on Thanksgiving.
If this lesson can teach us anything, it is that you never skip a Doctor's appointment - all she missed was one year - and always remember to tell someone that you love them and how much they mean to you. I'm glad I had that chance. I love you and will miss you so much Lynda!

A Painful Experience - December 20, 2007
This is all I have to say about VOY boards. These are weak attempts by insecure people to bring others down and to make others - that may have never met you - think that you are a bad person. I found out through a friend, that someone has been posting awful untrue things about me for the last week. Many people that DO know me defended me. I am eternally grateful that I have true friends like that. The lies that were posted about me included accusations that I was writing horrible things about people I didn't even know and some that I did know and have the utmost respect for. All of this I supposedly am doing while with my husband and family at the hospital for 24 hour periods while my Mother-In-Law is fighting for her life. I rue the day I ever found those boards. I thought they were for fun and support of one another. I guess I now know otherwise. How sad.
