Mrs. Connecticut America Pageant - 4th Runner-Up - June 26, 2006

Pageants never really leave your blood, do they? I wanted to throw my "crown" into the Mrs. ring and try for Mrs. Connecticut America. I am VERY excited because they support nationally a great cause - The National Anthem Project which seeks to educate people on our National Anthem!

I entered as Mrs. Litchfield County and ended up 4th Runner-Up!

My daughter just had her first birthday two weeks before! My beautiful daughter Delilah and handsome hubby David congratulate me after!

David's Brother Gets Married! - June 3, 2006

David's younger brother, Richard and Kathryn were married in Boston today. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time. We're looking forward to celebrating our daughter's FIRST birthday tomorrow!

Memorial Day Parade of Morris - Mrs. Litchfield County America - May 29, 2006

Little Princess Delilah came along for the ride! I promise you - she put her First Birthday crown on by herself and when we rode down the street - she waved at people! Ah, a Queen in the making...

David's brother, Mark and his wife, Carolyn have a new baby - Sofia! We are all so excited and she was born on my Mother-In-Law, Lynda's, birthday! What a present for all of us!

Relay For Life Walk For Our Mom - May 19, 2006

My Mother-In-Law is a cancer survivor and we honored her by walking in the Relay For Life. Even Delilah came along!

Singing With Ronnie McDowell - May 4, 2006

I went home to Virginia in May and went with my family to see Ronnie McDowell. I was even able to go up on stage and sing with him! He is a wonderful performer and nice person.

Vietnam Veteran's Traveling Wall visits Connecticut - The Glory Girls/Mrs. Litchfield County America - April 27, 2006

Debbie and I attended the opening ceremonies for the Vietnam Veteran's traveling wall when it came to Connecticut. We were honored to sing The National Anthem for the opening ceremonies. Afterwards, I was also able to appear as Mrs. Litchfield Connecticut America. It was a beautiful day to honor our Veterans.
