David's Sister Gets Married! - July 31, 2004

David's big sis Lisa got married in Newport, Rhode Island today! She was a stunning bride and her handsome groom is Jan - who is half Swedish and half Turkish.

Now here is where the funny part comes in - Jan asked me to sing a song at the wedding for Lisa - in SWEDISH! I was never more afraid in my life! The night before when I was rehearsing, one of his cousins told me to be very careful because a word I was pronouncing has a slight variation that could be a bad word! Oh the fear as I stood up in church in front of his family! All in all, they said I did a great job and they were all so pleased. WHEW!!!! :-)

CT AMVETS State Convention - The Glory Girls - June 19, 2004

Tonight marks the debut of our new show "Stage Door Canteen" featuring all of the hits of the era. Our goal was to take the audience back in time to the U.S.O. shows of the past. By the end of the night, we had succeeded and they loved it!
