Charleston, South Carolina - April 26, 2009

The next morning, Ginny and her husband Chris, Sherry, Reggie and I went for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. We had a blast! Reggie left us - but not before we got in a few kisses!

The rest of us headed for a quick tour of downtown Charleston. Of course, we ended up shopping too! Ginny and Sherry helped me pick out my opening number black cocktail dress and my swimsuit! It was so much fun!

We then headed for the Daughters of Confederacy and City Market historical spot!

American Image National Pageant - Charleston, South Carolina - April 25, 2009

What an amazing evening! Sherry, Reggie, Ginny and I were slammed all day working hard to help put together the show and by the end of the night, it was fantastic! I sang the national anthem and L-O-V-E and First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. I also helped Ginny and Archie emcee the pageant. It was great fun and by the end of the evening, as you can see, we had a beautiful set of winners!

I was so happy to see Mrs. United States 2009, Dr. Garianne Gunther again. She and I had met at the All American Pageant last October.

I also got to see Mrs. United States 2007 and hot stuff, Stephanie Hunt. She was one of my judges at All American and I am so glad I got to know her! She is so much fun!

Bea Gill and I shared a few laughs on Saturday as well!

American Image National Pageant - Charleston, South Carolina - April 24, 2009

The next day, I got the privilege of timing the interviews and everyone was so good I think it is going to be hard for the judges to decide! It was hard for me not to jump in and ask a question! LaQuetta and I had a couple of hours of free time between helping with interviews and the Denim and Diamonds BBQ. Soooo, what's a girl to do but head out to the outlets?

The Denim and Diamonds BBQ was nothing short of fun! We had great food and a blast hanging out afterwards!

American Image National Pageant Red Carpet Evening - Charleston, South Carolina - April 23, 2009

That evening, I was invited along with the other lovely delegates to enjoy a red carpet evening. The setting was amazing and everyone looked so incredible.

I also got the chance to see old friends and meet new ones! Sheila Strassburg and I had competed together in 2003 and Rebecca Richardson, Evelyn Carr and I had competed in All American together. I also got to meet Lori Donaudy and Kristen Hutchinson from New York and LaQuetta McCullough from Georgia. Kristen and I will be competing in a couple of weeks at the Mrs. United States New England regional.

Everyone got to introduce themselves to the guests - including me! It was a wonderful and charming Southern evening!
