Hamden Memorial Day Parade - All American Ms. Talent 2008 - May 26, 2008

It's Memorial Day and I'm off and running appearing at the Hamden Memorial Day Parade with The Glory Girls.

It was great fun and we rode in my baby - my 1968 purple convertible Mustang!

We also had a pitstop in front of the grandstand where we performed and ended up in the newspaper!

Waterbury Veterans Memorial Dinner - May 21, 2008

With old friend and Marine Veteran, Sam Beamon at the Waterbury Veterans Memorial Dinner. The Veterans are always supportive of me as I am of them and they were full of congratulations of my All American title.

That night, our family was presented with a post-humous award on behalf of my Mother-In-Law, Lynda Geremia. She also had volunteered many hours of her time for the Veterans of Waterbury.

Mrs. Connecticut American Queen - Evening Gown Award & Carmela Award (Highest Overall Score) - May 18, 2008

I competed in the American Queen New England regional and won the title of Mrs. Connecticut American Queen as well as the evening gown award and the prestigious Carmela Award, which goes to the one contestant that scores the highest amongst all of the ladies there that day. I was so honored!
