That Saturday put us back in the patriotic spirit in the City of Waterbury. They held a rally on the green in support of our troops. We were proud to sing the National Anthem as well as God Bless The U.S.A.. We were so glad we could take part in another event to honor our troops.

Operation Homefront Rally For America - The Glory Girls - March 15, 2003
We appeared Saturday, March 15th at "Operation Homefront" "Rally For America" sponsored by 960 WELI News/Talk radio. The event was held to support our troops by donating items that they might be able to use such as, batteries, DVD's, games and more. We are so honored to have been a part of this special event!

We performed a few numbers and special guests spoke to the large crowd of supporters. Because Kimberly and Stacy had the chance to tour overseas to some of the desert countries to perform for the troops, they were able to help put some of the audience members' minds at ease by telling them a little about desert life. We also signed the huge cards that were going to be sent overseas to our troops.
Our sound man for the day was Keith Alan. He and his wife, Marcia, are from Waterbury, CT and they have a son serving overseas during our time of conflict. Their way of keeping "in touch" is by starting "Pins For Postage." Purchase of these pins will be donated to the U.S.O. to help pay for deliveries to our troops overseas.
