Ms. Petite Connecticut - Naugatuck Sesquicentennial Celebration - October 15, 1994

The Borough of Naugatuck was celebrating it's Sesquicentennial and I was so proud to be a part of the celebrations. I participated in one of their many events - a parade! I got to ride in this great car! (I will add however, valuable lesson learned, NEVER let the driver lock your purse, keys, etcetera in the trunk of their car. He took off after the parade and left me in the street waiting. If it wasn't for this one fine family that stayed with me - I don't know what I would have done because the police wouldn't help.)
I met so many wonderful people that day. I posed with the D.A.R.E. car, a local Brownie Troop, and a senior group in period clothing.

Ms. Petite Connecticut - Groton July 4th Parade - July 4, 1994

At the July 4th Parade in Groton! It's the largest in the state! I rode with the Grand Marshall from the Groton Naval Base. Also there were Ms. Connecticut Sr. and the newly crowned Miss Connecticut America 1994, Mary Grace Santagata.

Thanks to Carole - Miss Warner Theatre, we got to participate in the day's events. We were up on stage to help hand out the guitar signed by the bands.

Miss Connecticut U.S.O. - Fleet Week - May 28, 1994

It's Fleet Week in New York City and we've been invited to perform on the U.S.S. Intrepid museum for the Sailors. We had a great time!

My Best Friend's Wedding - May 5, 1994

I made the long road trip to Virginia, picked up Arvon and Beth and we continued on to South Carolina where we picked up Ray and then finally landed in Atlanta, Georgia just in time for Holly and Jim's wedding!

This event proves to me once again that while I am a singer, I am definitely not a good wedding singer. I blubbered and flubbed the song I sang for them. It was something by The Beatles. I think I have memory block...
